An Introduction:

Before you decide to read what we have to say we'll preface it with this: we love the games of football (soccer) and basketball, more than most things in the world. Our fanaticism for the sport, shows no bounds. We have absolutely no experience with blogs or blogging but, what we lack experience, we have in spirit, passion and decent writing ability. Feel free to read what we have to say and comment on it. Agree or disagree, all opinions are welcome here, even if they represent teams we dislike. Thank you for your time and welcome to the wonderful world of Follies, Fortunes, & Fanaticism.

Follies, Fortunes & Fanaticism

Hello Everybody!
If you can't tell based off of my cheery intro, I am utterly livid right now. The culprit for my angered sentiment right now can be attributed to a little place called Glasgow. I give my congratulations to Celtic FC for gaining such an alarming success on their 125th birthday day and frankly they clearly deserved to win that game. That said, my first response can be found in the little jingle they sing in a wonderful miniseries,
This is because, you have now unleashed the Barcelona team, by beating us you only succeeded in creating an even worse monster. History is on our side that upon losing, Barcelona has responded with even better performances, building incredible comebacks from the ashes of a defeat. Regardless, 2-1 good job, but don't let it get to your head.

In terms of incredible Fortune in the world of Soccer, it goes to Maxim Ivashchuk who put in this ab-sol-UTE thriller!

In the dreary spirit of the day, I will present the loud, green, and glorious Celtic FC fans:
Finally to the Follies department where it has produced the best stadium in the world. Ladies and Gentlemen! Estadio Municipal de Braga and their inability to have a fully functioning stadium.
